War with North Korea imminent?
Brad of TheBradBlog made an interesting discovery on Feb 14, 2005. CNN had used identical pictures to illustrate the presence of nuclear plants in North Korea (left) and Iran (right).
The slip-up was corrected, at first quietly, then with an apology.
Mistakes, errors, slips, as Freud pointed out in The Psychopathology of Everyday Life, are revealing. For Freud, such slip-ups revealed our "true wishes" or "real selves."
The war drums for North Korea and/or Iran have been beating for sometime here and here. It seems before 2009, Bush will exercise that option.

Good. One by one the bad men fall. Clinton tried the "diplomatic route" with both North Korea and Iraq during his administration, and it got nowhere. Korea couldn't even hold up its end in the oil-for-no-nukes deal Clinton spent so much time on, and of course Baghdad was bombed 7 times during Clinton's 8 years, and twice Clinton threatened invasion and mentioned Saddam's WMD on many occasions (I guess he had bad CIA information, too).
I'm sure there were many who regretted attacking Japan and Germany during WWII, but that generation had to do what they felt they had to do, for future American generations (their kids, grandkids) and for the betterment of the world.
The same must now be done with my generations, to ensure future generations a life without a nuclear North Korea, or Islamic terrorism running amok.
